A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Delightful Turkish bath experience
This was a great experience. We enjoyed our attendance, Ruth and Sophia. It was a very fun way to experience the Turkish bath culture. Especially love the bubble scrub. Finished off with a lovely refreshments in the lounge complete our relaxing afternoon.

Great hammam experience
Fantastic experience. The hammam is clean and well maintained. The service was very professional and friendly, and I was able to relax even though it was my first experience such as this. I would return, and found it a great package for me versus the normal massage I might have back home.

Nice traditional bath
It was my first time doing the traditional Turkish bath, and I think this place is great for starters like me. They provided everything needed for the bath, staff were friendly and helpful, the place is historical, pricings are clear, I enjoyed it very much.

Great experience, a very nice palace! We paid the €70 experience that includes a complete body wash with a little massage and it was very nice, very respectful staff. Guvenc, the recepcionist speaks diferentes languages and was very helpful the whole time! 100%Recommended

Above expectations
We looked at all hammam options and went for this one because of its history and reviews. Did not regret it one bit, Safiye was sweet and a great therapist to accompany me for my first ever experience. Foam massage was very nice but so were the foot and body massage. Very relaxing place, atmosphere and people!!!
