A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. I selected the 70€ package. They supply all what is needed to enjoy the bath. The staff was very friendly and professional. Engin was my therapist and he personalised the experience for me, making me enjoy it greately. Really recommendable, especially going with a therapist. Maybe the time at the hot marbel was too long but I understand is part of the experience.
