A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. So relaxing!
This was the highlight of my trip to Istanbul (and it’s been a pretty amazing few days). I got a package with a foot massage and a 30 minute oil massage and it was a great way to finish up my time here. Nur was fantastic and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

A genuinely great, traditional experience at one of Istanbul’s oldest hammams. It was pleasant, clean, and revitalizing, and the staff was so unobtrusive. Highly recommended. We timed our hammam visit for the middle of our trip, when we were already tired from all the walking and sightseeing. It was perfect.

Wonderful staff, relaxing experience!
Came to this hammam as part of a group. It was so relaxing, and my skin was so soft. Facility was very clean and everyone was professional and pleasant. Must do for a full immersive experience of Turkey!

Nice experience in ISTAMBUL

Incredible experience at the oldest Turkish Bath
This was absolutely amazing. We read the reviews but we didn’t know what to expect. It was better than we thought. The place is beautiful knowing it’s the oldest added the ethnicity to the experience. Staff were very friendly. If you were thinking of doing it, we would highly recommend this place.
