A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Great Massage and Bath Experience
This was a fantastic first experience at a traditional historic bath. Well worth trying if you haven’t. We did the Pasha’s Dream and the bath and massages were excellent. Very invigorating and relaxing. Delicious tea and Turkish delight to cap off the service. I recommend leaving early because traffic getting to the area is difficult.

Magic Hammam Experience in Istanbul
A beautiful hammam in an impressive historic building – just magical! My co-worker Bahriye pampered me completely and gave me a wonderful relaxing time. Her warm and professional nature was a real highlight. In the end there was even tea and snacks – a perfect conclusion. Highly recommended!Would do it again anytime when I am in Istanbul!

Excellent first time hammam experience and Çiğdem helped me feel refreshed and so at ease!! Everyone is very kind, and the tea and turkish delight at the end were delicious. Highly recommend, and if you’re lucky there may even be a kitten or three to play with at the end!

The Hammam was very nice it’s a sensational focus on your body, feeling the warm water, the foam but also really good touches from the lady. They gave me time to relax in between the Hammam and massage in a room with good temperature and relaxing sofa. The massage was very professional with strong and soft touches all over my body.
