A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Amazing Turkish bath
This was my first Turkish bath experience. Wow! I feel like a baby. My skin is so soft and I am very relaxed. The attendant, Bahriye was amazing. (Ask for her on your visit). I wish I booked a longer massage with her. She was fantastic. 10/10 experience!
