A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. All i can say is that it is an experience of a lifetime. It is a must do. I have gone to several places, but nothing like this one. I highly recommend it. The staff is super friendly and very professional

A relaxing hour like no other
I was pretty apprehensive about my first Turkish Bath Experience but I needn’t have worried. I was quickly put at my ease in spite of being naked! My therapist was gentle and very capable and I certainly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it even to ladies of more mature years!
