A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Revitalising Experience
Great Hamam experience. Lovely clean establishment. Great scrub which left me feeling very exfoliated and foam bath leaving me fresh. 10 minutes relax then onto the body massage and to finish some traditional Turkish refreshments.

Great hammam ritual
The experience starts from the outside with the amazing entrance of the historic hammam. Great service and all the staff was very welcoming. The hammam ritual was an amzing experience i would very much reccomend it. After the ritual you get treated with some turkish delights wich we enjoyed very much. Relax time
A beautiful and relaxing experience! it’s the first time for my boyfriend and I to try an experience like this, we chose the hammam ritual package, which also includes tea and sweets (really good). I recommend it for those who want to relax after the various tours in the city! Well equipped, you don’t need to bring anything, because they have everything! just one thing: bring cash to leave a tip. The girl who took care of me, Sakla (or Salka, sorry I have a bad memory) was really good and kind to me! I suffer from cervical pain, it didn’t heal me, but I definitely feel reborn! Thanks to all the staff, kind and helpful!
