A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. This was such a great experience, my therapist, Numus (i don’t know if I write it correctly) was super nice. Pro tip: it is better to come without make-up or wash it off before the treatment.Thank you Gedikpasa hamami team! 🙂
