A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Fantastic experience – we received excellent peelings and foam massages by Nil and Ayfer. They made us feel very comfortable, too. The spa itself is quite large and beautifully maintained.

Once in a lifetime experience
I truly enjoyed my first turkish bath and would totally recommend, great deal and very good serivce! Being warmly welcomed by the staff the massage by Kalsan allowed me to fully relax. Afterwards treats and drinks were waiting to round off our experience.

Great experience and totally worth it
We went in two couples. Girls to one side and boys to the other. We all had the best time. The bath was spectacular with very friendly staff. The facilities were very clean and the experience was more than worth it. I was showered by Bahriye and she was so kind and professional. I would highly recommend and I would return for sure.
