A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Wonderful experience with Oznur
My therapist, Oznur, put me at ease and she really scrubbed, buffed and cleaned me along with a beautiful soap massage with extra focus on my tight shoulders. The experience of being cleaned was like being a child again, it is truly lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to come again
