A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Wonderful hamam and experience
The hamam is wonderful, the staff are amazing and i would absolutely recommend it for anyone. The staff is helpful and guiding if you are inexperienced and the entire experience was incredibly calming, perfect place to relax!

Five star hammam experience!
This was my first hammam experience and it did not disappoint! I was skeptical first because I didn’t know what to expect. However, I was very pleased after the experience. Gedikpasa’s facility was in an old but beautiful building. It was very well kept and sanitary. The staff were very polite and professional. They guided me through the entire process. I recommend Gedikpasa to anyone that would want to experience hammam in Istanbul.

Very kind from the beginning, starting from the reception, really welcoming ladies explained everything in detail. Later Mrs. Öznur received me, very kind and very good at her job. Finally they made us have good Turkish tea accompanied by sweets. Very particular experience but super recommended!

Well worth the money. First timer and won’t be a last timer. It’s a gem in the middle of a random side street. The inside is gorgeous, clean, and authentic. I did the private bath with a foot massage and massage. My lady was heaven sent. Exactly what I needed to end my trip in Istanbul.
