A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. A few hours of relaxation in Istanbul’s historic Hamam!
She visited Hamam in November 2025. Remarkable therapist Bakhtiyar performed scrubbing, foam massage and foot massage very carefully and friendlyly. Then in the lobby they treated traditional Turkish tea and sweets. Only the positive emotions of visiting a given hamam. If you’re in Istanbul, make sure you look in this place!
