A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Must go to Turkish Bath!
Safïye was my attendant and she did great. She gave a great massage and was extremely sweet. I was shy and she made me feel comfortable through the whole experience. It was such a great experience, you need to add this to your bucketlist!

Such a positive Turkish bath experience!
I had an incredible Turkish bath followed by an oil massage! My attendant, Halis was perfection! It was like he intuitively knew how to work on me with just the right tension. It was all I could ask for in a Hammam experience! This was my first and now I wished I lived close enough to come weekly! Highly recommend this beautiful and historic place! All the stars!
