A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Time traveling hamman experience
Mama Bakriyeh led the Hamman bath journey. The first I’ve ever had! I started from being on the hot stone with inside a huge dome space, enjoying the entire room all by myself, later a few more people joined. I chose the Hamman, 30 minute massage and face mask option. It’s been very revitalizing, fun and relaxing. Highly recommend for a traditional experience!

Very positive experience
An amazing experience. I went to my wife and we both thought the same. They leave you very relaxed.In the end you can taste tea and typical sweets.We’d repeat.Rating: nothing needs to be brought. They give you towels, flip-flops and single-use underwear. The wardrobe is individual and locked. There’s a dryer in it. We advise to bring comb in case you have long hair.

The best experience, it was super clean, I was very averse to these things and it has been an amazing experience, we got 3 amazing girls Oznur, Aysun and Safiye if I came back would certainly be here, you come out as if you were treading clouds…..and to finish tea and Turkish sweets that more can be asked

Excellent hammam experience
Our first Hammam experience. We chose the basic ritual. The hammam is very stylish and the staff is friendly and helpful. We got a good scrub and pleasant foam massage. The masseur explained well with few words what was expected. A very nice experience.

Unique and wonderful experience
Wonderful experience. The building is unique with a very authentic atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. (Öznur was so lovely and professional!) The hammam experience is really something special – it is a mixture of a massage and a body scrub. We felt completely refreshed afterwards and highly recommend it for visitors to this incredible city!

Amazing experience.
This was our first visit to a Turkish Hammam and it was exceptional. We booked the Pasha’s Dream experience and would highly recommend it. The interior of the Hammam is utterly beautiful, it was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy Turkish tea and a sweet treat afterwards. Mutlu was so polite and helpful and the team on reception were very friendly. Thank you for a very enjoyable morning of relaxation.
