A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. The hamam is centrally located a short 20 minutes walk from the centre the reception personnel was very friendly the place is spotless and the therapists are friendly joyous and very personable

My massage therapist, Nil, was superb in her skills, care, and affect. The entire experience was supremely helpful and relaxing. I felt taken care of from beginning (golf cart transport from our hotel) to end (Turkish juice, tea , and delight).

Lovely first time experience!
I had the most amazing experience at this Turkish spa. It is definitely worth experiencing and my spa lady was wonderful and kind. After a long day of walking and exploring Istanbul and the crowds at the bazaar, it was the perfect way get refreshed and relax before the evening. A lovely experience and would do it again!
