A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. A must do experience when visiting Istanbul.
This was an amazing experience from entering the vintage building to finishing the treatment. The building has a very authentic feel and the treatment was amazing. Although not cheap, invest in the full service including the 30 minute massage. I thoroughly recommend this establishment

Safiye & Ayfer were awesome! My daughter and I enjoyed the Hammam and a foot message and some tea and delight afterwards. From the moment we walked in from the reception on was pleasant, comfortable and clean. It was a wonderful experience.

Super relax time in Istanbul Old City
From the moment we arrived we were treated as King and Queen, staff is really kind and helpful, they accompanied us through all the steps of the experience in a professional way. Engim and Nil are very good therapists and they make us feel so relaxed. A lovely tea time after the experience is a plus. We really recommend this Hamami to experience a true History Trukish Bath in the middle of Istanbul Old City.

We came as a family and had a fantastic experience at the Turkish bath. Everything was super clean, relaxing, and the staff were incredibly kind. Aysun was great, the massage with bubbles was really gentle and soothing – I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place, it’s a wonderful experience from start to finish

Divine. Relaxing. A totally amazing experience. The most beautiful building in Turkey with caring staff will go above and beyond. You come out totally relaxed and peaceful. Hot stones with foam massage body wash. Add this to your bucket list as it is a must to do.
