A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. I came by friend recommendation, and it has been indeed a very good experience. High quality hammam since srart till the end, and very private and relaxing. Thanks to HALIS….lot of strenght for best massage

We had an idea of what to expect but it still made for an exciting experience. It was both relaxing and exhilarating. I have never felt more clean! Everyone we encountered was so kind and professional. I believe my person’s name was Mushka (sp?) and she was so kind and did a wonderful job. This was a highly ranked Hamam and I know why. You have to book!

Amazing Experience!!!
It was amazing!! Lovely atmosphere, lovely place and staff were so nice and accommodating! The Hamam + massage was EVERYTHING I NEEDED for my last day in Istanbul and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

Hammam experience
Hammam itself is amazing, well maintained and very comfortable. I had the Hammam experience with additional full body massage. My masseuse guided me through the entire experience and I was not uncomfortable at all, nor did I feel rushed in any way – so overall a relaxing experience. Great experience overall that I would recommend to anyone coming to Türkiye.
