A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Don’t miss it!
Wonderful Hamam-being washed, bubbled up, and massaged was soothing and a nice sensory experience. Next time I would add on additional massage options! You can wear disposable undies for those concerned with a wee bit of privacy (you are topless for the Hamam but it’s all ladies and they do a great job). They serve you a specialJuice and tea at the end which is a nice touch. I would recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul and would do it again if I ever come back

Good hammam and clean spa
The Hammam opens early at 9am and we were first to be there. My therapist Bahriye gave me the bath and she was really polite and the bath was really good. I feel recharged and rejuvenated. The spa is clean and we were served refreshments after the session.
