A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Awesome place !
This Turkish bath place was so worth the price. We came from Peru and the staff were so nice and polite and the massage was really good, and the place was clean if you come to Istanbul you need to try this place!

Super relaxing and refreshing
Great experience. They picked us up at the hostel and brought us back. Friendly people, very professional. Had a steam, full body massage and scrub. We got Tea and some snacks after. Whole experience took between 1-1.5 hours. The shorts they give you are regular sized, if you are a bit bigger (like me) they might be a bit tight. Overall very pleased with the experience and felt very relaxed after.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Turkish hammam and massage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and professional service. The atmosphere was peaceful and authentic, with beautiful traditional decor that set the perfect mood for relaxation. The hammam experience itself was incredibly soothing. We started with a thorough body scrub and wash that left our skin feeling fresh and smooth. This was followed by a steam bath that felt deeply cleansing and calming. Relaxing experience
The entrance is so pretty and clean. The person at the front desk was friendly. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name. I had the Hammam Ritual. It was so relaxing. Oznur was my therapist. She was great. She was so good, I almost fell asleep. If I’m in the area again, I would go here again.
