A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Excellent experience
This was an amazing experience. I didn’t know what to expect but it was all excellent. The hammam, scrub and foam left me feeling clean and revived. I had a fabulous relaxing foot massage with Aysun who was excellent.

Perfect place to relax after the Grand Bazar
This is the perfect way to relax after a day in the city. The building is impressive: historical and imposing but the atmosphere is one of profound relaxation. And then we had the hammam team (for me it was Sophia) that gave a great massage and also left my skin squeaky clean.Highly recommend

Great first hammam experience
Wonderful scrub and bubble massage with treats and tea after. Masseuse Turkien was wonderful. Make sure to bring 20% tip cash for your masseuse 🙂 Lovely hospitality. My sister and I went and were very pleased with our first turkish hammam experience.
