A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. First Impression is the Last!
First Impression is the last.Will re-visit, experienced team and humbled welcome. Ask for Asil, (Men section) who is expert and humble. During bath he discovered that I had problems with my neck, so I decided to have somehow a therapy message which was really effective.

Great experience. Would recommend to a first timer!
This was my first hamam experience and it was lovely! Highly recommend. The space is beautiful. Everyone is kind and professional. And I felt very cared for by the woman who offered the service. As it was going, I kept thinking, I should’ve signed up for the full massage because I don’t want this to end! Alas, I’ll have to come back.

This was an amazing experience. Highly recommend. Aysun was my therapist. The bubbles and water pour are absolutely delightful. The massage afterwards was the icing on the cake. Include this Turkish bath while visiting Istanbul.

We had a very relaxing time at the bath with our family. We enjoyed the Pasha dream program and our daughter (10Yold) the foam massage for kids. It was the first time for everyone and we loved it! We’ll definitely recommend
