A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. First experience
I had a nice experience at the Turkish bath overall. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. However, I found the session a bit short for my liking, and I was hoping for a stronger massage to really work out the tension. Still, it was a relaxing visit, just not quite an experience as I’d hoped!

Great, but a bit over priced
Well, to begin with, it was a worthy experience. Turkish barh in one of the oldest Hamams, gives the vibe you’re looking for, the staff are nice and friendly, and the bath itself is good experience. The only negative point might be the price, which you expect to get more with that amount of money.
