A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. overall great first hamam experience. arrived early (10am) and had hamam to myself. first laid on stone slab to warm up, then got a thorough scrub down, and then a very relaxing 30min oil massage. attendants were friendly and courteous. would recommend.

Awesome experience
First time In Istanbul and tried the Turkish batch with a full body massage at Gedikpasa. The place is very elegant and the service was awesome. Treated with a cup of tea and some sweet delights before and after. The whole experience so far is the best. I’ll do it again!

Very pleasant experience
Staff is very friendly and respectful, attendant was very detailed as well. The place is clean and the atmosphere was very soothing. I had the Hammam and body massage plus foot massage. I wish there’s an option for a deep tissue massage to recover from all the walking but nevertheless it is something I would recommend for first time visitors. A great way to experience Istanbul.

It was a wonderful experience. Going in, it is already an experience. The facilities are clean and top notch. Great massage as well and felt so relaxed during the experience. A must experience when you are in Istanbul!

Very nice experiences
Great experience, very clean and polite staff. We chose the hammam ritual with scrub and foam massage and Mrs. oznur was final. At the end we were chewed and tea!

Amazing experience at the remote hammam
Great experience for all senses in beautiful environments. A nice treatment and respectful treatment. I felt like new afterwards when I sat on the beautiful sofas and drank my chai with Turkish delight. A bonus that it was very quiet when I was here on a Monday morning. Highly recommended.
