A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Fantastic experience!
I had this experience with my daughter and it was fantastic. Bahriye and Oznur pampered, massaged, and washed us, and we relaxed completely. They were truly skilled and very, very kind. I highly recommend this experience and this Hammam!
