A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. 1 hour Hammam experience
Came with my friend and we opted for the 140 Euro hammam with oil massage. It was well worth it and Turcan, my therapist, was fabulous. It was my first time in a hammam and I will definitely be back!! I felt very comfortable and safe and taken care of.
