A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Excellent experience
First time in a hamman, didn’t really know what to expect. I had some time to kill before my flight so just walked in as I was passing as the entrance and building looked interesting. Attendant was Omar. The whole experience was excellent. After a long day on my feet sightseeing this was exactly what was needed. I went for the first package as I was short of time. Highly recommended. Would definitely do it again, with a fuller package. Service was first rate.

Amazing Turkish Bath Experience
Amazing experience, so cleansing and relaxing. We had great Turkish bathers Engin (male), Arif (man), and Bushra (woman) who treated me, my wife and 16 year old son with such care and professionalism. We highly recommend this place. Definitely will be back.

Amazing Turkish Experience
Very professional, relaxing experience for our family of four. We weren’t sure what to expect and really enjoyed ourselves. Our skin was so soft at the end. I would recommend removing your contact lenses, specifically for the shampoo at the end which is lovely. My husband had Birhan who has been doing this for 25 years. We highly recommend this experience!
