A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Authentic experience
Authentic environment, for main hamam (70eur) was lying on the warm stone, then water and foam massage and some rest afterwards. Tea and sweets upon exit. Aysun – great hamam, massage.

My first experience in hamami
A very good hamami, I came here according to the guide of a Russian journalist and traveler. For 70 euros, I was thoroughly washed, scrubbed clean, and given the famous soap massage. After that, they brought me free Turkish tea with sweets, and a very tasty purple sherbet. Thanks!

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience.
We booked the “Pasha’s Dream” package at the Gedikpaşa Hamamı, which, according to the description, includes a treatment duration of 90 minutes. Unfortunately, this time was significantly shorter for both of us.My wife was completely finished after about 60 minutes, including the blow-drying, and then had to wait for me for about 15–20 minutes. Thus, she was missing approximately half an hour of the booked treatment. For her, the visit was unfortunately not a relaxing experience, but rather disappointing; she felt that the entire treatment was stressful.My treatment with the men was generally very good and pleasant, but also a few minutes shorter than described.Overall, we find it very unfortunate that the booked service was not adhered to in terms of time. Especially with a hammam experience, one expects relaxation and the complete execution of the booked program. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend the Gedikpaşa Hammam.

The haman is fine, but he’s not following through. They don’t give underwear. They only gave us tea. There was neither water nor treats as advertised, otherwise meets expectations

I would not repeat.
The place is nice; I went with my daughter and her masseuse was very good and very professional, but she was interrupted every two minutes. My exfoliation was so gentle that I thought it hadn’t been done; my daughter rated it a 5, I rated it a 3.

Pleasant place near the Grand Bazaar.
Everything is very good; the only thing I would have liked is for them to give you a moment to wash the areas that the masseuse does not wash. I could have surely said it, but since it was my first time, they finish and quickly put the towels on you to dry you off.

Fun experience but would have wanted lotion after to not be so dry, plus conditioner. It might be worth bringing that plus a change of clothes.
