A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. One of the best message experiences I’ve had in a long time. Felt like royalty throughout, in a space fit for a great Sultan.An underground oasis free from the narrow streets of chaos above.Finished with a a Turkish Coffee and strong bowel movement. 10/10.

Experience that cannot be described in words. If you are Istanbul and you have the possibility to take a Turkish bath, this is the right choice. In my opinion quality / price ratio right. Engin and his 25 years of experience have regenerated me, like new.
