A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Best Hammam experience in Istanbul.
Wow we had the most amazing experience at this beautifully historic Turkish bath. Upon arrival the whole experience was outlined to us professionally. I have personally had many massages both at home and in other countries. This was our first Turkish Hammam experience. It was the best massage and spa Turkish Hammam experience ever. The hammam as well as the booked service “Pasha’s dream” were absolutely worthwhile. My masseuse Bahriye was great, very nice and not too pushy. She took great care of me. Apart from that, it is a super nice location. Absolutely heartfelt recommendation to visit the hammam and relax. Thanks for everything!

A characteristic Turkish bath experience
How can you not come to Turkey to experience the Turkish bath? I was walking in and came over without any waiting time. I chose a package of 70 euros and the whole experience was great and special. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly. They will also serve Turkish tea and sugar. I’ll still be here when I come back to Istanbul.

Turkish Hammam
I came here for my first traditional Turkish bath known as a hammam, the customer service was amazing, all services were explained very well, I came with my daughter and grandson and they were shown to a waiting area and served tea and condiments. The cub wash and massage was amazing and left me feeling very refreshed, I would definetley come back and recommend. The customer service was 10/10

My experience was very good. My therapist, Nur, was lovely and treated me very well at all times. I thought the time I was with her was a lovely person. A highly recommended place. After the treatment you are offered tea and Turkish delicacies.

Unique spa facility with outstanding service.
Partner and I randomly saw this place on the street in the way to do some shopping. We did a walk-in for the Pasha’s Dream treatment. The price was very reasonable (at least for American tourists), the staff were skilled and professional and courteous, and the facility is beautiful and unique. You also get tea and snacks afterwards. Recommend for any spa enthusiasts!
