A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. 1st time experience was honestly amazing , so relaxing , a feel of ancient tradition, staff extremely nice and helpful . Cost was reasonable, they also offered a shuttle service free of charge to and from hotel, this was very helpful .

Great relaxing experience everyone should try while in Istanbul – I chose the basic option with warm marble, scrub and a wash/massage. Best after a lot of walking and before going to sleep.You will also get some sweets and tea in the end and meet the cutest fluffiest hamam cat.

Perfect start to a chilly morning.
Excellent experience. Perfect way to start a chilly morning. Ergonomic did a great job with the traditional bath. After the bath, I spunk for the additional massage and it was well worth it. It took the 12-hour flight tightness and jet lag out of my body. Wife enjoyed her bath and massage too.
