A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. Incredible hamam experience
An amazing experience! A must when visiting Istanbul. My bath-attendant Mutlu was so lovely and made me feel comfortable, well looked-after and so, sooo clean! The foam massage was incredible. I wish I had done this on the first day of my visit, rather than the last, as I would have come again.

Best Hammam Massage Ever
I’ve had hammam massages before but this was by far my favorite experience! Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. If I was here longer, I would 1000% do it again! The price was way less expensive than I would have expected for the whole experience.

Good Good Good
AMAZING! This was my first Hammam, and it was so good. Every step of the way was explained in depth. I went with a friend, and we got to the location just a bit early. The staff were welcoming and warm, and brought us tea while we waited. I do not speak Turkish, but even with a bit of a language gap, there was excellent communication all around. Me and my friend were kept together aside from the hammam itself, then treated very well afterwards as well. 10/10 would go again.

Traditional gamman
Excellent service amazing value for money we had the hamman ritual package that we thought was going to be basic, but had incredible massage great relaxation, relaxation plus Turkish tea and treats after would highly recommend. Don’t miss out on this Charlie for money wonderful opportunity.
