A Brief History of Gedikpasa Hammam
Gedikpasa Hammam was built in 1475 by the grand vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha, to the design of the architect Mimar Hayrettin — only about two decades after the Ottoman conquest of Istanbul, which makes it one of the oldest hammams still in use in the city. The whole staff and especially Sofia were amazing. This is a once in a lifetime experience. If you are not from Istanbul, you have to do this when you are here!!! I highly recommend. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

The first time hammam and a special experience. Very friendly man who did the grooming. Exfoliation, washing and treatment of muscles and joints. In addition, the hammam is also super beautiful to see.
