A Brief History of Acemoglu Hammam
Acemoglu Hammam dates to the 15th century, the era of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, and takes its name from the Acemi Oglan — the young recruits trained in the Vezneciler quarter for the Ottoman Janissary corps. Booked to go here through Get your Guide, excellent app, booked the • Full-body clay mask• Traditional body scrub• Foaming ritual. When we arrived, we upgraded and got the 30-minute massage. The staff were very polite and explained the whole process, would highly recommend it, and will be doing it again

Fully relaxing experience
After a long day walking around old town, there is nothing better to visit traditional turkish bath right around the corner. Really good and relaxing experience. Massage at the end is amazing. Getting there is easy, subway M2 line is 200m away.

Excellent authentic hammam experience
An excellent authentic hammam experience. The hammam is 400 years old and used to be a sultan’s place and I really felt like a sultan or royalty. The staff at the reception and the female therapists are very professional and kind. A must do for everyone, it won’t disappoint.
