A Brief History of Acemoglu Hammam
Acemoglu Hammam dates to the 15th century, the era of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, and takes its name from the Acemi Oglan — the young recruits trained in the Vezneciler quarter for the Ottoman Janissary corps. Absolutely loved our experience at the hamam. No need to feel uncomfortable at any point in this experience. The girls were amazing and made you feel so relaxed… the hot marble, scrub, clay, massage, and foam …. I loved it all. Front desk reception was wonderful as well
