A Brief History of Acemoglu Hammam
Acemoglu Hammam dates to the 15th century, the era of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, and takes its name from the Acemi Oglan — the young recruits trained in the Vezneciler quarter for the Ottoman Janissary corps. Although we were early the team had no problem accommodating us. The place itself was very nice and being our first time experience was very exciting. The ladies who took care of us were very professional and made us feel comfortable from the time we went through to the marble slab, the body wash and foaming oh and the mud mask lol right through to the private massages. They may be little but damn their massages were good.With my overall experience, I can not highly recommend any other place other than these guys as a first off. Truly amazing and will surely be doing this again on my next visit to Istanbul.
